PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce crosstalk in a light emission device. SOLUTION: A TFT (TFT for discharge) for controlling the magnitude of a current which is made to flow through a power source supplying line when an EL element does not emit light is provided in each pixel in order to suppress a potential difference which is to be generated by the part of the power source supplying line from being fluctuated by a picture to be displayed. When a TFT (TFT for driving the EL element) controlling the light emission of the EL element is turned ON and the element emits light, the TFT for discharge is turned OFF and, conversely, when the TFT for driving the element is turned OFF and the element does not emits light, the TFT for discharge is turned ON. As a result, the potential difference which is to be generated by the part of the power supplying line is suppressed from being fluctuated by the picture to be displayed and the difference of the magnitude of the current flowing through the element emitting light which is generated in adjacent element each other is suppressed and the crosstalk is suppressed from being generated. |
