PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a KANA (Japanese syllabary) input method which increases coexistence with other information pictures to be displayed at the same time as a method for performing plain KANA input based upon a Japanese syllabary table by using a liquid crystal touch panel. SOLUTION: A character string 'a ka sa ta na ha ma ya ra wa' is superimposed in a single horizontal row on the screen of a liquid crystal touch panel; when one character in the string is touched, the remaining character string of one of the 'a' series to the 'wa' series which includes the touch-inputted character is superimposed in a single vertical column below the touched character and one character in the display characters in the single vertical column including the one character in the single horizontal row is touched and inputted, so that the character is inputted. |
