PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polarizing device for permanent magnet motor capable of facilitating coil winding work and improving polarizing accuracy. SOLUTION: This polarizing device includes a first cylindrical magnetic member 11, a second cylindrical magnetic member 12 which is fitted into the first cylindrical magnetic member 11 and in which a plurality of grooves 13 extending axially in the outer periphery of the fitted section are formed at prescribed intervals in the peripheral direction, and the coil 18 wound along the respective grooves 13 in the second cylindrical magnetic member 12. By energizing the coil 18, permanent magnets which are not magnetized in the permanent magnet rotor are polarized, and are disposed so as to face each other via air-gaps inside the second cylindrical magnetic member 12. |
