PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a signal processing device and a signal processing method using an A/D converter capable of reducing the number of parts, and lowering a manufacturing cost, by determining output levels of plural analog apparatuses by a single A/D port. SOLUTION: This device is constituted so that a control signal for instructing the output of an analog signal to the A/D converter 12 is outputted from a CPU 14 to each switching element 15 at differentiated times, to thereby execute determination of the output levels of the plural analog apparatuses 11 with time sharing relative to each analog apparatus 11.
