PURPOSE: An elevator system capable of being controlled by the internet and method for controlling the same are provided to simplify a computer model of controlling an elevator through an interactive Internet computing model and to supply various information in a space of an elevator. CONSTITUTION: In a plurality of managing systems for performing a communication through a single network, an input unit(303) is provided for selecting an input of a user. An input/output control unit(304) is provided for controlling an input/output of a system. A control unit(305) receives transportation information from different managing systems in accordance with a selection of a user, controls an operation of an elevator, creates transportation information of a self-system, and performs a control for collecting and displaying information. A storing unit(306) stores a control program and a web browser program of the managing system, and stores information. An elevator control unit(309) controls an operation of the elevator in accordance with a control of the control unit(305). A display unit(308) displays information in accordance with a control of the control unit(305). |
