PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a traveling device for a combine harvester having a simple structure, easy in maintenance and facilitated in operation by a variable speed mechanism. SOLUTION: In this traveling device, when a tension is given to a first belt 112 by a belt clutch 113, the driving force of an engine is transmitted from a first pulley 111 to a second pulley 121 by the first belt 112, transmitted from a third pulley 122 to a fourth pulley 131 by a second belt 123, and is transmitted from a fifth pulley 132 to a sixth pulley 141 by a third belt 134. A rocking pulley 133 is rocked from side to side by a lever operation, and then a rotation speed is changed. A fourth driving shaft 140 is provided with the first advancing and retreating gears 142 and 143 which are moved by the lever operation, respectively. When advanced by the lever operation, the first advancing gear 142 is engaged with a second advancing gear 151, a fifth driving shaft 150 is normally rotated, and this rotation is transmitted to a shaft 160 through a worm gear.
