<p>The measuring tape (10,11) is enclosed in a housing (6) at the rear of the handgrip section of the chainsaw . At the free end of the measuring tape is a pivoting tongue with stops the tape from being wholly encased in the housing and is also used for anchoring onto an end of the trunk being measured.
