<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pre-distortion system amplifier that compensates distortion caused in the amplifier using the pre-distortion system on the basis of envelope information of a modulation wave signal in the case of amplifying the modulation wave signal by the amplifier and improves the detection efficiency and detection accuracy of the envelope information so as to enhance the accuracy of distortion compensation by the pre-distortion system. SOLUTION: The envelope information detector detecting information with respect to an envelope of a modulation wave signal that is an amplification object is configured with matching circuits 11, 14, diode circuits 12, 15, 16 rectifying the modulation wave signal, a stub circuit 13 that eliminates a carrier component of a signal outputted from the diode circuits, and a signal conversion circuit 17 that converts an envelope current signal outputted from the stub circuit into an envelope voltage signal, which are placed between an input terminal A1 and an output terminal A2.</p> |
