PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a navigation system for easily providing navigation from an arbitrary position to the other arbitrary position without inconvenience in carriage. SOLUTION: A portable telephone network 201 is connected with a portable telephone 203 through a base station 202. A display input device 205 for watching map data or easily designating a position is connected to the portable telephone set 203. A user A performs a request from a portable telephone set 2031 to a navigation managing device 204 and specifies a departure spot by receiving the data of map close to the departure spot. Besides, position data are similarly provided by originating a telephone call to a portable telephone set 203M of a user B at a target spot. The position data of these two spots are sent to the navigation managing device 204 and map data for guide are sent to the portable telephone set 2031. Since the position is individually specified on the map or the like, the position error of the departure spot or the like does not occur. Further, since there are map data on a network, carriage is not disturbed. |
