<p>The gas regulator has a part (17) common to two mechanisms (15,16,18: 19,22,24) with links from these two mechanisms to a membrane (2) and an input mechanism (15,17). The regulator has two parts (10,14) which are made rigid by the action of a elastic part (12) to halt their movement as long as a shutter (9) of an input valve has not reached the closing position of the input valve. The gas regulator has a body (1) subdivided by a membrane (2) into a trigger chamber (4), The membrane is acted on by a spring (5) located in the top (3) and with the gas pressure in the trigger chamber. The regulator has an output (7) and input (6) in which is mounted a trigger valve whose shutter (9) is connected to a mechanism (15,17) affected at the input with a transmission movement designed to transmit to the shutter, membrane displacement. A safety valve (25,28) is mounted at the output (7) and is connected by a mechanism (19,22,24) which causes movement designed to transmit to the shutter (25) of the output valve the displacement of the membrane. The arrangement being such that the shutter (25) only reaches its closed position in the output valve after a displacement of the membrane above that which is necessary for the shutter (6) of the input valve to reach its closed position in the valve.</p> |
