PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a panel adapted to form no gap with another adjacent member when the panel is fitted to the wall surface or floor surface, and a method for forming a wall surface using the panel. SOLUTION: A cutout 16 is formed in the end face of the panel 10, and an elastic body 15 is supported in the cutout 16, whereby when the panel 10 is fixed, the gap 3 between the panel and another member 2 can be blocked by the elastic body 15. As the elastic body 15, expandable thermoplastic resin is applied by an applicator to form the elastic body. Since the elastic body is mounted in manufacturing the panel, it is possible to eliminate the time and trouble for manually sealing the gap after the panel is installed. |
