PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a castable refractory that is suitable for a lining of a fused metal vessels, that has few cracks and exfoliations, and that can improve durability. SOLUTION: The castable refractory consists of 1-50 weight % with one or more kinds of zirconium light material having a particle size of 1-10 mm, alumina zirconia material, and SiC material, 1-10 weight % with magnesia material having a particle size of 0.1 mm or less, 0.1-10 weight % with alumina cement, 0.5-10 weight % with silica super-minute powder, and the rest with alumina-type material, or consists of 1-50 weight % with one or more kinds of zirconium light material having a particle size of 1-10 mm or less, alumina zirconia material, and SiC material, 10 weight % or less with magnesia material having a particle size of 0.1 mm or less, 0.1-10 weight % with alumina cement, 1-30 weight % with spinel-type material having a particle size of 1 mm or less, and the rest with alumina-type material. |
