PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a belt for a treadmill capable of obtaining sufficient strength in a connecting portion of the belt and also having a good bending property. SOLUTION: In the structure of the connecting portion of the belt 1 of a treadmill front canvas 2a and a cover layer 3 forms a first connecting portion 6 by butting and connecting both end portions, and back canvas 2b also forms a second connecting portion 9 by overlapping and connecting both end portions. The position of the first connecting portion 6 and second connecting portion 9 is arranged to be different each other in a circumferential direction of the belt. Further, a connecting portion S is inclined at an angle of 45 to 80 degree to the circumferential direction of the belt.
