PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a speaker that is used for various acoustic and video devices that is downsized with a high efficiency and a reduced defective gap. SOLUTION: The speaker of this invention is structured such that a damper 11 is stuck and coupled to both end faces of a voice coil 7a so as to reduce a lateral shake of the voice coil 7a caused at driving thereby preventing a defective gap and to reduce the size of a magnetic gap thereby attaining a high efficiency.
