PURPOSE: An electrochemical water purification system for the disinfection of waterborne diseases is provided. CONSTITUTION: The electrochemical water purification system comprises a pump(20) for stable supply of raw water; a sediment filter(30) for filtering coarse dust, suspended solids and impurities contained in raw water; plural graphite plates(51) which are horizontally arranged at a fixed interval; a D.C converter(40) which alternately supplies direct current and alternating current to the graphite plates at a fixed time interval; and a case(50) for housing the graphite plates.
