摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a driving controller of a rotary body by which the rotary body such as a photoreceptive drum is inexpensively and highly accurately driven and controlled. SOLUTION: In the driving controller 1, unevenness 20a or a stripe pattern 20b is formed as a reflection part 20 by which the rotation of the photoreceptive drum 2 is detected over the entire area of the photoreceptive drum 2 in a peripheral direction on one side end part outer surface of the photoreceptive drum 2 that is made into a drum-shape and whose rotational speed is set constant, and the reflection part 20 is irradiated with light from a projecting unit 3, and reflected light reflected by the reflection part 20 is outputted as a picture signal by an image detector 4, and the rotational speed of the photoreceptive drum 2 is detected by taking the mutual correlation of the mutual adjacent picture signals of two kinds of time out of the picture signals, so that detected rotational speed is adjusted at a specified target speed. Thus, the rotational speed of the rotary body is highly accurately detected without using a rotary encoder on a market whose resolution is excellent, so that the speed is inexpensively and highly accurately controlled at a constant speed.
