METHOD FOR PRODUCING HIGH DENSITY WOVEN FABRIC

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a high density woven fabric which holds the physical properties necessary as a woven fabric for air bags, with improved production efficiency. SOLUTION: This method for producing the high density woven fabric is characterized by defining the fiber-applying rate (%) of a reed on the production of the woven fabric as the following expression (expression 1) [N is the number of filaments applied into each dent of the reed; D is the thickness (dtex) of a warp; (ρ) is the density (g/cm3) of the woven fabric; (g) is a reed porosity (%); L is the number (dents/cm) of the dents], and controlling the fiber-applying rate of the reed to <=110.
