PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information disk recording/reproducing device, in which the vibration is detected by using the single threshold independent of the kind of disks while allowing the measurement of vibration amplitude inexpensively in the space saving manner without using an acceleration sensor and also the vibration is exactly detectable even when the detection of the direction is difficult, and the vibration detecting method of the information disk recording/ reproducing device. SOLUTION: Since a track cross detecting means 112, a track cross direction detecting means 113, a rotational angle detecting means 114 and a counting means 115 are provided so as to detect a track pitch of the disk, the vibration amount, vibration speed or vibration acceleration is evaluated by taking the track pitch of the disk into consideration, then a maximum rotational speed such as becoming equal to or less than the vibration amplitude, vibration speed or vibration acceleration allowed for the recording/reproducing device is decided.
