PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a disk cartridge which houses a small-diameter optical disk, is small in size and is highly portable. SOLUTION: The disk cartridge which rotatably houses the optical disk has a spot facing portion 20 formed to a shape recessing from other segments on the inside surface on the side opposite to a side to be inserted with a rotational drive shaft of the optical disk so as to face a center hub of the optical disk.
