PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To attain a proper rolling of a cylindrical roller bearing. SOLUTION: The cylindrical roller bearing is used under conditions that a radial load P of the roller bearing is not more than 4% of a basic static rated load Cor of a standard cylindrical roller bearing of the same type and same size with the bearing roller (P<=0.04 Cor). In order to attain a smooth rolling of the roller 3 under these conditions (light radial load), the number (Z) of the cylindrical rollers is set so that a basic static rated load Cor' of the bearing has a relation of P>0.04 Cor' relative to the radial load P.
