PURPOSE: Provided are a dielectric color filter for a plasma display panel(PDP), which comprises a transparent dielectric layer and a color filter as one body and has improved color purity, contrast, and permeability, and a composition thereof. CONSTITUTION: The composition of the dielectric color filter is formed by adding 20-30wt% of a rare earth halogen compound to an oxide dielectric, wherein the rare earth halogen compound is one selected from neodymium fluoride(NdF3), neodymium chloride(NdCl3), and neodymium bromide(NdBr3). And the dielectric color filter is formed by adding the rare earth halogen compound to the oxide dielectric solid component and forming a thick film or a thin film. |
