PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gas cooking stove to suppress the occurrence of a differ ence in a step between a grate and the upper surface of a cooking stove and be easy in maintenance, such as cleaning. SOLUTION: In the gas cooking stove having a top plate opened at a gas burner part, protrusions or recessed parts are formed in the periphery of the top plate and at least the grate, and the support part of the grate to support a cooking container and the upper surface of the top plate are positioned approximately in flush with each other. Exhaust and radiation are reliably carried out by the protrusion parts or the recessed parts and the upper surface of the top plate is positioned in flush, workability during cooking and cleaning is improved, and the gas cooking stove excellent in appearance and design ability is provided. Further, by molding the so formed gas cooking stove integrally with the top plate of the gas cooking stove, a seamless and flush cooking table can be provided.
