PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transfer scaffold in which, when a string beam is constructed, a beam portion can be tentatively supported by the scaffold while a tension member is installed, the platform body can move in the horizontal direction on the floor while elevating or bringing down some parts to avoid interference with the tension members or bundles, and the scaffold can also be used for constructing a roof with no fixed width, and in providing such a platform, a roof with a plurality of string beams placed at predetermined spacing can be smoothly constructed. SOLUTION: A transfer scaffold 1 comprises a transfer stage 2 which moves on a floor S along the ridge direction, tentative beam supporting posts 3, 3,... moving freely in the vertical direction and positioned at the front part of the transfer stage 2 for tentatively supporting a beam B of a string beam T with tentative supporting parts 3a projecting backwards from the upper end of the tentative beam supporting posts 3, a tentative supporting post elevating means for elevating and bringing down the tentative supporting posts 3 on the transfer stage 2. The tentative beam supporting post 3 is further provided with a work floor 3c under the tentative supporting parts 3a for installing a tension member C of the string beam T.
