PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To quickly absorb, disperse and evaporate sweat perspired from a head and thereby to prevent unpleasantness and adverse effects on human bodies on sweating. SOLUTION: This woven fabric 1 produced from warps 2 and wefts 32 is characterized in that the textures 4 are gradually enlarged or reduced in at least one of the directions of warp 2 and wefts 3. The woven fabric 1 is used, for example, as a raw material for a headband 6. The headband 6 is set so that the textures are gradually reduced in both the right and lest directions from the central portion to be contacted with a front head portion. Sweat absorbed in the central region S2 of the headband 6 is efficiently impregnated and dispersed into the end portion regions S1 having relatively smaller textures than the textures in the central regions S2. Thereby, the headband can eliminate an anxiety that the sweat enters eyes on sports or labors, thereby enabling concentration on the sports and the labors.
