PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a polyester hollow fiber suitable for producing a lightweight textile product having excellent heat insulating properties by melt spinning with good operating a polyester polymer produced by using a new polymerization catalyst other than an antimony compound. SOLUTION: This polyester hollow fiber comprises a polyester polymerized by using the catalyst containing aluminum and/or its compound, a phenolic compound or a phosphorus compound and has a hollow part.
