The composite material consists of a textile backing layer, at least one elasticating coating, a first decorative layer, another elasticating coating, and a second decorative layer comprising a varnish. INDEPENDENT CLAIMs are also included for (i) a method of fabrication of the composite material; and (ii) use of the composite material as covering and carpet.
