PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a current fuse which is surely actuatable at a low-current wherein an electric circuit consisting of an exothermic body of a low resistance can be cutoff at a low-temperature of about 200 deg.C, and provide a battery using this current fuse. SOLUTION: Since this fuse has an insulation substrate 11 composed of an insulation material, has at least a pair of electrodes parts 12 formed on this insulating substrate 11, has a heat generating part 13 to be connected between this pair of electrodes parts 12 and to generate heat, when a current of not less than a prescribed value flows, and an undercoat layer 14 having a melting point lower than that of the heat generation part 13 is formed between this heat generation part 13 and the insulation substrate 11; and because the undercoat layer 14 is destructed and the heat generation part 13 is disconnected and an electric circuit between the electrode part 12 is cutoff, when the heat generation of the heat generation part 13 becomes not less than a prescribed temperature, heat generating part 13 can be disconnected surely by the destruction of the undercoat layer 14.
