PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wood connector capable of facilitating connecting work and greatly shortening the work period. SOLUTION: A female screw member 1 is embedded in embedding holes 2 formed in butt ends of pillars 22a, b, and a male screw member 2 is screwed in the female screw member 1. A plate body 4 secured to the end part of the male screw member 2 is secured to a cross bar material 21 by a bolt 24. The pillars are bored with the center axes of the pillars aligned with the center axes of the embedding holes 23. In fitting the female screw member 1 in the embedding hole 23, an adhesive is applied to the inner wall of the embedding hole 23.
