PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate the taking out of a male private from a front opening in trunks-shaped underpants, to keep the opening small so as to be done by one button, and further to prevent crotch lines and hem lines from deformation to keep the initial shape of the underpants. SOLUTION: The crotch lines of left and right bodies L and R are constituted of the first straight line parts 3-4 and 3'-4' nearly parallel to the lower end lines 4-5 and 4'-6 of an inside lining L2 and an extension R2, convex bent line parts 2-3 and 2'-3' continuing from the first straight lines 3-4 and 3'-4', and the second straight line parts 1-2 and 1'-2' forming the first prescribed angle (about 45 deg.) to the first straight lines 3-4 and 3'-4', and continuing from the convex bent lines 3-4 and 3'-4'. The right and left side bodies R and L is cut so that the upper and lower direction of the underpants at the worn time may be the eye direction of the weft of the cloth [Y direction (Y-axis)], and the horizontal direction may be the eye direction of the warp [X direction (X-axis)].
