PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To generate a three-dimensional computer model for a subject object alone or the subject object and a calibration object by processing images recorded at different positions in different directions. SOLUTION: The subject object 210 is photographed by being arranged not directly on the calibration object, but by being held on an object support base 220 and then a user is able to select the pattern and color of the calibration and also select the position and direction of the photography. The top surface of the object support base 220 where the subject object 210 is placed is made not to project from the bottom surface of the subject object 210 downward and then the user can set lighting conditions. A back screen 228 is arranged behind the subject object 210 and a picture is taken, so that the user can select a surface where a photographic mat 34 is arranged when taking the picture. |
