METHOD AND DEVICE FOR ESTIMATING PROPAGATION LINE RESPONSE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that a conventional propagation line response estimating method using interpolation between estimated response values obtained over frames is effective in the case that tracking against fluctuations in the propagation line characteristic is a requirement in a propagation line response estimating device that uses a synchronous word for a reference signal but the conventional method is not applicable when frames are discontinuous or a single frame is received. SOLUTION: The propagation line response is estimated within the synchronous words forwardly and backwardly and two response estimate values and their deviations obtained as a result are used to obtain the propagation line response estimate values at both sides through extrapolation.
