PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a low cost wire winding device for a saddle deflection coil with a simple, convenient and means generally used with mere installation of holes or slits in a bobbin of the wire winding device, without having to add complicated mechanical parts to the bobbin or installing mechanism parts for the control. SOLUTION: This wire winding device forms the saddle deflecting coil by winding around a coil wire material 10, and comprises at least a convex type 1 with a curved surface of a semi-horn shape, a concavity type 2 with a curved surface corresponding to the curved surface of the convex type 1, a fitting top 3 to set up a space part 5 to fit the convex type 1 and the concavity 2 opposing to each other, and a coil molding plate 4 to press-fit and mold the coil wire material 10 in the space part 5; and this is constituted, so that the coil wire material 10 is pushed and wound in the space part 5, while compressed air is delivered from a hole 4A and/or a slit 4B installed at the coil molding plate 4, or from an air nozzle 8 installed at the convex type 1 side.
