PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new spraying method, which resolves troubles occurring in dry and wet spraying, makes mixing of ingredients unnecessary, prevents clogging of conveying pipes, enables spraying with a long-distance transportation of ingredients and gives a refractory with high quality. SOLUTION: A monolithic refractory composition 2 containing refractory aggregate, refractory powder, binder, dispersant, and rapid-setting agent is fed in a powdery state along with an airflow 1 into a conveying pipe 3 and conveyed pneumatically. Water is added at 4 on the way of conveying and the mixture is further conveyed pneumatically to a spraying nozzle 5, through which the mixture is sprayed to form a furnace wall. |
