PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dehumidifier feasible for variable-speed operation, which is small, light and readily portable, and has low power consumption, low noises, low frequency. and high reliability. SOLUTION: A condenser and an evaporating consisting a refrigerating cycle are accommodated in a single body. The body is provided with a converter circuit for converting AC voltage to DC voltage, an inverter circuit for changing the voltage which has been converted to DC in the converter circuit to AC voltage of a required voltage, frequency and phase, a control circuit for controlling the largeness of the voltage, frequency and phase formed in the inverter circuit, and a compressor mounting a DC brushless motor which is controlled by the control circuit and driven by the voltage, frequency and phase outputted from the inverter circuit. |
