PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mobile terminal that is rarely carried in mistake by a user for making a visit and can easily be found out when missing and to provide a mobile terminal service. SOLUTION: This invention provides the mobile terminal 1 that is provided with a mobile terminal master unit 2 that has a MODEM section 32 making wireless communication with a public line network 8 by means of a radio wave, a GPS reception section 42 that detects a position, and a reception circuit 52 that receives a radio signal from a specific device, with a slave unit 6 that has a notice switch 7 used for an emergency notice or the like and transmits the radio wave signal to the master unit 2 and where the master unit 2 intermittently receives the radio wave signal from the slave unit 6 and uses the notice switch 7 to make notice and communication via the public line network 8. The master unit 2 is provided with a signal detection means that detects a level of the radio wave signal intermittently received from the slave unit 6 and a buzzer 14 that makes a notice in sound when the signal detection means detects that the signal level is lower than a prescribed level for a prescribed period.
