RECEPTACLE WITH DECORATIVE HANDLE AND LIGHT

A receptacle adapted to be carried by a person's hand during ambulatory activities and operative to receive items carried by the person. The receptacle is a container having an interior and a mouth region giving the person access to the interior. A handle is secured to the container and adapted to be carried by a person's hand such that the container downwardly depends therefrom. A light supported by the handle and operative in an "on" state to emit light along a transmission axis such that when the handle is carried by a person's hand and the container depends downwardly therefrom, the transmission axis s oriented obliquely to a horizontal support surface to illuminate a path along the surface in front of the person.
