PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a steering column provided with a bearing that prevents ball gagging. SOLUTION: The steering column 10 comprises a housing 14 that surrounds at least a part of a steering shaft 12 and a pressurized ball bearing 16 that is installed in the housing 14 and holds the steering shaft 12, and the pressurized ball bearing 16 has unloaded balls that freely move around with pressurized loaded balls 24. One unloaded ball is disposed between the loaded balls 24. Also, the pressurized ball bearing 16 constitutes two angular contact raceways and comprises a fissured ball race 20 that pressurizes the loaded balls 24 in the axial direction. |
