PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a safety guardrail which can be replaced easily and safely. SOLUTION: This guardrail is made up of a guardrail-fixing base frame 10 which is arranged between the opposite double perpendicular materials 1, 1 of building frames 4, 4 for a double scaffolding and fixed to an individual perpendicular material 1 with a clamp 13, a main guardrail body 9 which is able to be fixed against an external frame 7 arranged between the above double perpendicular materials 1, 1 above the guardrail fixing base frame 10 and fixed to each perpendicular material 1 with a clamp 11 to which an inner frame 8 is set up to the external frame 7 in a way that the inner frame 8 is housed into the external frame 7 so that the former can slide freely up and down, and yet at a shrunk position where the inner frame 8 is housed into the external frame 7, and at an elongated or protruded position where the inner frame 8 elongates or protrudes downwards from the external frame 7, a guide means 12 each of which is fixed to the both side edges of the external frame 7 to guide it along the perpendicular material 1 of the building frame 4 for scaffolding, and an engaging member 14 which is provided at the lowest edge of the inner frame 8 and freely engaged and disengaged against the uppermost edge of the guardrail fixing base frame 10.
