PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fixing member for a drip plate capable of cutting off water between an inclined plate of a drip plate and the end face of a building material for an outer wall over a long period of time. SOLUTION: This fixing member 10 for a drip plate for joining the inclined plate of the drip plate to the building material is provided with a base plate 15, a top plate 16 disposed opposite thereto, and a side plate 17 connected to the respective base end parts of each one side of the above plates. The base plate 15 and the top plate 16 are bent from the side plate 17 to come into contact with each other while the tips thereof mutually have resilience. A first pressure sensitive adhesive tape 18 joined to the end face of the building material is stuck to the lower surface 15a of the base plate 15, and a second pressure sensitive adhesive tape 18 joined to the inclined plate of the drip plate is stuck to the top face 16a of the top plate 16.
