PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To stop electric power supply to a heater before the temperature of a fixing roller is excessively raised. SOLUTION: When a cycle timer 8 generates a timer output, detected temperature is compared with target temperature to perform write access which turns on a port P2 to an output port when the detected temperature is higher than the target temperature and turns off the port P2 to the output port 10 when lower. When the output port P2 is already at H and the detected temperature is lower than the target temperature, the write access which turns on the port P2 to the output port 10 is performed. Abnormal operation of a microcomputer 6 can be detected from abnormality detection by a monitor timer 11. |
