PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce errors, labors and time in the case of setting conversion definition information of format conversion and information required for referring to or inputting data by at least one of the two format being converting objects. SOLUTION: A conversion definition information storing part 34 is used for format conversion between an EDI(electronic data interchange) standard format to be used for electronic data conversion by which information on a bill or a slip is electronically interchanged through a communication line and a job format in the case of processing internally. The part 34 is used also in the case of preparing a display screen which a user uses in the case of referring to or inputting the data by at least one of these EDI standard format and the job format directly.
