<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrically-powered parking brake unit capable of facilitating operation or release of operation of the electrically-powered parking brake unit by manual handling as much as possible when an electric motor of the electrically-powered parking brake unit having a rotation stopping means of a screw shaft is unable to operate. SOLUTION: A driving bevel gear 79 is engaged with a driven bevel gear 84 when a hexagonal wrench 80 is inserted in an upper end of a rotary shaft 75 and is pushed downward, and a releasing member 72 also ascends via a lever 82, and a plate 66 of an electromagnetic brake 33 and an armature 67 are eventually separated from a rotor 66. When the rotary shaft 75 is rotated by the hexagonal wrench 80 in the above-mentioned state, a screw shaft 47 is rotated by the driving bevel gear 79 via the driven bevel gear 64, and a wheel brake can be operated or released to operate by pulling and releasing a boarding wire 13 by moving a nut member 31 which is engaged with the screw shaft.</p> |
