PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a digital/analog conversion circuit with excellent linearity and a small occupied area that is compatible with a digital signal having a large number of bits. SOLUTION: The digital/analog conversion circuit is characterized in that it has (n-m+1) sets of capacitors (m is a natural number smaller than n), charging/discharging of electric charges to one of the (n-m+1) sets of the capacitors is controlled by a digital video signal in low-order m-bits and charging/discharging of electric charges to the (n-m) sets of the remaining capacitors is controlled by a digital video signal in high-order (n-m)-bits.
