PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an aided design management device and an aided design method providing execution based upon a design drawing and rational design of an object even to a person without expert knowledge. SOLUTION: A server computer 1 as the aided design management device 1 acquires a limiting area setting an area of arrangement positions of molding components from a client terminal device 3, stores it in a design object attribute database, precedently arranges particular molding components and displays a form drawing screen showing an initial setting drawing in a user terminal device 2. When a user arranges a molding component in the form drawing screen by inputting an arrangement position by an inputting means, a detecting means 15a of the server computer 1 detects whether or not it is within the limiting area stored in the design object attribute database, and if it is determined by the detecting means that the arrangement position of the molding component is not within the limited area, this fact is designated to the user who is the designer.
