PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thermoplastic resin net which has a levee protecting function of a conventional levee sheet, has water permeability, permits the development of a reinforcing effect using the roots of small weeds, can endure to the running of agricultural machines, and is light weight, flexible, can thereby easily be set, and is suitable for preventing the collapse of tenaced rice field levees. SOLUTION: This thermoplastic resin net obtained by weaving tape yarns comprising a thermoplastic resin and having a fineness of 300 to 3000 dtex as warps and wefts is characterized in that the weave tissue of the net is a mock leno weave and in that the product of an interwarp distance with an interweft distance in an opening portion surrounded by the warps and wefts of the net is 1 to 10 mm2.
