PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce labor of operating a ranking test of works in a calligraphic association or the like having a multitude of members. SOLUTION: One exhibition ticket 3 with a bar code 3f is issued to each work of each member for all examination subjected to which a member has exhibition qualification by a member status. The member selects the exhibition ticket 3 for a desired examination subject and affixes it to a work 15. The bar code of the exhibition ticket for each work is input to a computer 1 at headquarters. The computer prepares exhibition data including determination if there is no mistake in exhibition qualification by collating against registered member data in accordance with the reading. The computer processes the exhibition data following a preset format and automatically edits an examination result announcement document. Accordingly, labor of members preparing the exhibition tickets is saved and there is no room for mistaking the examination subject or causing an entry error. A hosting side of the test can accomplish reading of the exhibition data and editing of the examination result announcement document very easily.
