PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To express natural and various rhythms and to synthesize more natu ral and high quality voice. SOLUTION: In a rhythm control rule DB producing section, a rhythm control rule is obtained from sentence structure information that is generated based on text data and voice data naturally uttered corresponding to the text data and rhythm information. Based on the above, a rhythm control rule database 103 is generated. In a rhythm control rule determining section 102, the generated database is retrieved based on the sentence structure information generated based on the text data and a rhythm control rule is determined. Based on the determined rhythm control rule, the objectives are accomplished. |
