A connector arrangement (2) according to the invention comprises a housing sleeve (8) and an insert (10) which is arranged detachably in the sleeve. The insert (10) has contact-holding cavities (32) which contain contact connections (6). The insert (10) has a cover (38) which is hinged on one of the side walls of the insert (10) along a pivoting line (40) running at right angles to the row of cavities (32), so that the cover (38) can be opened to expose regions of the cavities. The cover has fixing attachments (46) which engage on the connections (6) when the cover (38) is closed, so that said connections (6) are fixed in the cavities (32). The insert (10) is held detachably in the sleeve by means of a self-supporting locking arm (76) which is provided on the sleeve (8) and engages on a stationary shoulder on the insert (10). <IMAGE>
