A dental prosthetic part having a metallic body which has an interior space open on one end and is provided with a plastic, ceramic or such like veneering, is to be comparatively lightweight and have sufficient strength and is to be usable as a pillar for bridge structures. For this purpose, it is proposed that the metallic body be formed as a supporting element (12) of a filigree lattice with meshes and be firmly connected with the veneering surrounding it as a jacket layer (10). In addition, two of the supporting elements (12) formed from the lattice are to be connected by at least one rod (22) and be supplemented by a lattice part (23) cast onto the rod (22) so as to form a bridge structure (21). <IMAGE>
