When a Java application (AP) makes a call to a specific communication node, a Java application manager (JAM) refers to the call-in/call-out history and th e telephone directory data and judges whether or not a call can be made from whether or not the telephone number of the specific communication node is contained in them. If the telephone number of the communication node to be called is contained in the call-in/call-out history or in the telephone directory data, the Java application manager determines that the calling is adequate because the portable telephone has made a communication with the communication node in the past or the user acknowledges that the communicati on node is a communication party.
